Be going to, gelecek zamanda kullanılan bir yapıdır. Bu yapıyı, önceden planlanmış, kesin olarak yapılacak işlerde kullanırız. Bunun yanında yağmurun yağması gibi gerçekleşmesi için gereken tüm koşulların görüldüğü durumlarda da be going to kullanılmaktadır. Şimdi cümle yapılarını inceleyelim:

Olumlu (Affirmative) Cümle Yapısı

I	am	going to	Verb 1

Örnek 1 :

I am going to write an essay for our  Foreign Language lesson.
(Yabancı dil dersimiz için bir makale yazacağım.)

She is going to write an essay for our Foreign Language lesson.
(Yabancı dil dersimiz için bir makale yazacak.)

We are going to write an essay for our Foreign Language lesson.
(Yabancı dil dersimiz için bir makale yazacağız.)

Örnek 2 :

She is studying  her examps very much. She is going to pass her exams.
(Sınavlarına çok çalışıyor. Sınavlarını geçecek.)

There is too much cloud. It is going to rain.
(Çok  fazla bulut var. Yağmur yağacak.)

My baby is not crying this night. He is going to sleep.
(Bebeğim bu gece ağlamıyor. O uyuyacak.)

Olumsuz (Negative) Cümle Yapısı

I	am not ‘m not	going to	Verb 1
He She It	is not isn’t	going to	Verb 1

Örnek 3 :

I am not going to read your letter anymore.
(Bundan sonra senin mektubunu okumayacağım.)

Seda is not going to come with me to Paris.
(Seda benimle birlikte Paris’e gelmeyecek.)

We are not going to buy another coat for you because you have three.
(Sana başka bir mont almayacağız çünkü üç taneye sahipsin.)
